Chubb Personal Insurance provides personal property insurance for homes, valuable articles, automobiles and yachts, as well as excess liability coverage.  Appraisers visit customers' homes to analyze contents and provide underwriters with an overall report on whether or not the home should be insured through Chubb.  On-the-job training and seminars provide a basic foundation for underwriting and appraisals.  In addition, field trips to museums, central station alarm companies and local fire departments reinforce the training.  As the learning experience continues, those who perform well in their roles will be given increased responsibility and the opportunity to advance into a technical or management career role.
