Chubb Adds Dashboard to Risk Analysis System

June 18, 2009--The Chubb Group of Insurance Companies has added a Business Intelligence Dashboard to its risk management information system,
RMIS Dimensions. The dashboard includes snapshot views of recent activity, metrics by policy year, top-five open claims, and frequency and
severity by state, allowing users to quickly identify loss trends and better manage their loss costs.
“Chubb’s Business Intelligence Dashboard provides risk managers with increased visibility to their organizations’ claims and
costs of risk,” said Michele Fincher, senior vice president, Chubb & Son, and underwriting services manager, Chubb Commercial
Insurance. “Having key claims information at their fingertips allows risk managers to react quickly to areas that are negatively
impacting their organizations’ results.”
Other new RMIS Dimensions features include a direct link to adjuster notes and the automatic generation of reports, delivered on a pre-determined schedule
via email. Users can also “drill” down into the loss data and retrieve key information to build one-click or fully-customizable
reports.
"The new platform was the outgrowth of studies Chubb conducted with our risk management customers, who voiced the need for
a consolidated, single source overview of their claim information in an integrated claim analysis system,” said Fincher.
"Chubb enhanced RMIS Dimensions to respond to that need and provide risk managers with a way to more thoroughly and efficiently monitor, measure and manage
their loss exposures and cost of risk."
