Singapore Insurance Brokers Association Honors Chubb for "Best Claims Service"
WARREN, NJ, August 3, 2006 - Members of the Singapore Insurance Brokers Association recently voted Chubb as having the "Best Claims Service." This is
the second consecutive time Chubb has won the award and the fifth consecutive time it placed in the top three.
"Around the world, agents, brokers and customers acknowledge that Chubb is an undisputed leader in claim service," said Dino
Robusto, executive vice president of Chubb & Son and worldwide claim manager for the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies. "By
staffing Chubb's worldwide network of branches with our own claims experts, Chubb is able to consistently deliver on the promise
of handling every claim in the most expedient, fair and empathetic manner."
To determine the "Best Claims Service" award winner, members of the broker association voted using the following criteria:
the timely settlement of claims; flexibility with difficult claims; seeking ways to pay claims as opposed to denying them;
and providing adequate claims information for renewals and claims control advice.
Chubb has consistently won awards for its claims service around the world. American and British agent and broker associations
frequently recognize Chubb as an industry leader in claim service. Chubb's Brazilian operations were recognized for "Outstanding
Claims Service" in 2005 by Revista Cobertura, an insurance magazine. A recent survey found that 96 percent of Chubb's personal
insurance customers who submitted a claim resulting from a 2005 hurricane or windstorm were highly satisfied with their overall
claim experience.
