The Chubb Corporation Announces Dividend Increase

Warren, New Jersey, March 13, 2008 -- The Board of Directors of The Chubb Corporation today declared a quarterly dividend in the amount of $0.33 per share payable April 15, 2008 to shareholders of record on March 28, 2008.  This represents an increase of $­0.04 per share or a 13.8% increase over the $0.29 dividend paid last quarter.
